A Clear Scope Before You Request a Quote

The GR-198 is designed for filling and capping passes on fixed carbon-steel and alloy-steel pipe. It does not perform the root pass. The carriage travels around a pipe-specific track while the operator monitors the weld pool and adjusts torch position or parameters when required.

Each quotation is reviewed against pipe OD, wall thickness, material, joint preparation, welding process, power supply and jobsite access.

Operator-Controlled Adjustment

The standard system has no automatic seam tracking. The operator observes the weld and adjusts the torch or parameters.

The controller can store and recall approximately 100 parameter programs for repeatable setup.

English Control Interface

Pipe-Specific Track

An English-language control interface is available for international projects.

Each pipe diameter normally uses its own track. The carriage and main system can be reused when the track changes.
